LUDDESDOWN VILLAGE HALL

News

Last Updated - Monday, 5th February 2018

Well we've been very busy since our last News update. We have just completed a big project to completely rip out the old kitchen, redecorate it and replace the old, tired kitchen units with new commercial standard stainless steel tables and wall cupboards. We have also removed the two doimestic cookers we were using and replaced those with a large, robust commercial dual fuel range oven.

Pictures of the newly refurbished kitchen can be found in our Photo Gallery.

Next we will be seeking funding to resurface the car park. This is a very large, expensive project so may take us some time to sort out.

The next social event in the hall is the Luddesdown Society's St. Patrick's Day celebration at 7:30pm on Saturday, 17th March 2018. We'll be serving a 3 course Irish themed meal and, of course, playing lots of Irish music for all you budding Riverdancers out there. The cost is £20 per person. Please contact Jill Escudier at jill.escudier@googlemail.com to book tickets.
